Performing a measurement

Select an order that you want to send to the LIS.

Place the cursor in the Sample ID and read the sample barcode using the hand-
held barcode reader.

Place the cursor in the Patient ID field and read the patient barcode using the
hand-held barcode reader.

If required, complete the patient information.

If required, add a comment in the Comment field.

Choose the Send button.
The selected result is sent to the LIS.

Rerunning an order
Use the worklist to rerun an order. Rerun orders are indicated in the Test field in the
Worklist window with Rerun and the rerun number (for example Rerun 1). After a
rerun, the original result is replaced with the rerun result. To retrieve the original
result, check the data folders.

Choose Measurements > Worklist.
The Worklist window is displayed.

Select the orders that you want to rerun.

Choose the Assign channel button.
Up to 5 orders can be selected.
The orders are highlighted in green and are automatically assigned to the free
channels.

(p. 107), from step 5 onwards.
