Multiplate system control
Data alarm Description Possible cause Remedy
Decreasing curve All measuring values
are decreasing. All
results (the AUC,
aggregation and
velocity) are reported
with the value zero.
The NaCl was not preheated. 1. Repeat the measurement making sure
that NaCl is preheated.
2. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
Sensor cable No test cell signal can
be detected.
o The sensor cable of the affected
channel was not plugged in correctly
or was unplugged during the
measurement.
o The sensor cable of the affected
channel is defect.
1. Check the sensor cable of the affected
channel and plug it in correctly.
2. Check that the sensor cable jacks are
clean and no liquid was spilled.
3. Repeat the measurement.
4. If the data alarm persists, repeat the
measurement using a new sensor
cable for the affected channel.
5. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
No stir bar The magnetic stirrer
bar cannot be
detected during
measurement.
The magnetic stirrer bar in the affected test
cell is not present or is blocked.
1. Check in the affected test cell that the
magnetic stirrer bar is present and
that it is not blocked.
2. Unblock the magnetic stirrer bar and
repeat the measurement.
3. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
Error stirrer
o The stirring
control sends an
error or is not
working.
o The magnetic
induction signal
of the stirring
module is
outside of the
default range.
o Rotation speed is
outside of the
allowed range.
The stirring module is defective 1. Repeat the measurement.
2. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
Data loss Not enough
measuring points.
Additional software was installed on the
analyzer affecting the measuring
performance.
1. Check if additional software was
installed on the analyzer.
2. Uninstall any additional software on
the analyzer.
3. Repeat the measurement.
4. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
Short circuit Short circuit is
detected in sensor
cable.
Short circuit in sensor cable or in the jacks. 1. Check that the sensor cable jacks of
the affected channel are clean and no
liquid was spilled.
2. Clean the sensor cable jacks and
repeat the measurement.
3. If the data alarm persists, repeat the
measurement using a new sensor
cable for the affected channel.
4. If the data alarm persists, contact
your Roche Service representative.
