3.8. RF Stage
With the EFC, the CRT is able to cover legacy IF (70 MHz) and L/S band for downlink (930 to 2400 MHz) and
uplink (950 to 2400 MHz). The EFC board is able to process up to 3 inputs and up to 2 outputs.
The EFC board is fully integrated with the Cortex CRT, with internal connection to the Main Signal Processing
board of the CRT.
The input and output connectors are able to manage both the IF 70 MHz interfaces and [930-2400 MHz]
interfaces without the need of cabling management.
The diagram below illustrates with simple blocs, the global architecture of the EFC.
