3.8.1.2. Input Gain
The RF Gain:
In case of L/S band operation, the gain is programmable from 10 to 25 dB with Model S105576 and
from 15 to 30 dB with Model S108984.
In case of 60-78 MHz operation (Bypass mode), no gain is applied.
Important Note
Please note that,
The gain setup depends on the signal power at RF input. In main cases, it is recommended to use the automatic
gain control mode. However, when there is a lot of payload out of the IF band (40MHz band), it is recommended
to use the manual mode and set a low gain in order to avoid EFC saturation.
