3.8.1. DownLink Cannels
The EFC is able to manage up to 3 inputs.
The 3 inputs can be set independently. For each input, the user can program:
 The frequency of the input
 The RF gain control mode: automatic (recommended) or manual
 The RF Gain only if the manual gain control is enabled
The diagram below illustrates with simple blocs, how the EFC and the main signal processing board are
connected and how the user shall adapt the gain and frequency at EFC stage and the frequency at MSP stage.
