7. Turn the ribbon rewind spindle (4) clockwise for several rounds to wind the ribbon
while removing the slack from the ribbon.
8. If the media is already loaded, turn the head lock lever (2) counterclockwise to lock
the print head.
9. Close the top cover.
• When closing the top cover, be careful not to pinch your fingers.
