The supported mode of the SOS connection appears on the screen when the port diagnostic has been
completed.
The port diagnostic cannot be executed in the following cases:
When the default gateway address is not configured
When the DNS address is not configured
When the firewall setting is enabled
If [Impossible to run.] appears on the screen before starting the port diagnostic,
configure each setting in the [Interface] > [Network] menu, and then execute the port
diagnostic again.
If you press the button (ABORT) during the port diagnostic, the diagnostic will
be canceled.
If the product fails each test during the port diagnostic, the diagnostic will be canceled.
Configure the interface settings according to the message displayed on the screen and
contact your network administrator about the network settings.
[Advanced]
Set the advanced function for the interface.
The setting items are as follows:
[ARP Announcement]
Set the functions for ARP announcement.
The ARP announcement is useful for updating other hosts mapping of a hardware address when the
IP address or MAC address of the sender has changed.
The setting items are as follows:
[Additional]
Set the additional ARP announcement.
The options are as follows:
Enabled
Enable the additional ARP announcement. The ARP is sent at 1, 2, 4, 8 and 16 seconds after the
link up/DHCP assignment.
Disabled
Disable the additional ARP announcement. The ARP is only sent at 1 second after the link up/
DHCP assignment.
[Periodic]
Set the interval of the ARP announcement in the range of 0 to 600 seconds.
