Operation
7.12 Precharging of the DC links
SINAMICS DCP
Operating Instructions, 09/2019, A5E34382853K
355
Time (4):
The capacitance at side 2 of the SINAMICS DCP (U2_DCP) must have been charged up to
voltage U2 at this time.
The following conditions must be checked after the delay time p55355[1] has expired:
● Voltage U2_DCP must be greater than the minimum voltage p55105 and
● as a maximum it may fluctuate within the tolerance p55357[1] around the target value
p55352.
If these conditions are satisfied, then a request is issued to close the main contactor of side
2 (K22), and the system waits for delay time p55356[1] to expire to close the contactor.
If this is not the case, then fault message F60501 is output with fault value 2.
Time (5):
The closed-loop control and the pulses are enabled.
The pulsing up rate is obtained from the set precharging current (p55360). With the factory
setting of 5 %, pulsing up takes approximately 10 ms.
Note
When precharging using pulsing up, the voltage can only be increased (pulsing up) and not
decreased. As a consequence, the actual voltage f
or this precharging type must be less or
the target value (p55352).
If this is not the case, then precharging is canceled and fault F60501 is output. For
precharging to an already available voltage, the target value for precharging should be set
e
qual to the actual voltage value.
