Separate contactors/precharging circuits
Each of the DCPs connected in parallel is connected with the voltage source on the
relevant side through its own dedicated main contactor. Each DCP has its own
precharging input circuit. The DCP devices control their own main contactors and
precharging circuits.

WARNING
Electric shock or fire due to inadequate protection against overcurrent
Overcurrent protective devices that trip too late or not all can result in electric shock or fire.
Protect each individual DCP device connected in a parallel group against overcurrent on
both sides.
There are two ways of operating DCP devices connected in parallel:
Independent operation of DCPs connected in parallel
Each SINAMICS DCP is supplied with its own setpoint from a higher-level control system.
The devices operate independently of one another and there is no direct communication
between devices.
