For example, if two DCP devices are now connected in parallel, and operated in closed-loop
voltage control with droop, then a common operating point is obtained from the combination
of the droop characteristics of both devices:

As a result of the droop function, when loaded, the voltage actual value at the common
operating point lies just below the actual setpoint voltage (dU in the previous diagram).
To achieve a uniform current distribution between the devices, parameter p54127 must be
set to the same value in all DCP devices.
Droop values of approximately 2...5 % are required to ensure stable operation. Excessively
low values mean that stable operation is not possible as the voltage controllers of the two
devices mutually influence one another in a seesaw action. A value that has been set too
high results in an unnecessarily high voltage dip under load.
