For this example, the parallel interface in DCP1 and DCP2 should be deactivated
(p51800 = 0).
As a result of the droop function, as the reactor current setpoint increases, the voltage
controller linearly reduces the internal voltage setpoint to create a softer characteristic.
Parameter p54127 (voltage controller droop) defines the magnitude of this intervention. It
specifies by which factor the internal voltage setpoint must be reduced if the reactor current
setpoint corresponds to the rated current (p55510 = 100 %).
The following diagram shows the principle mode of operation of the droop function.

Example:
If, for a 120 kW device (rated current = 200 A, rated voltage = 600 V) parameter p54127 is
set to 5 %, then when a load of 200 A is applied, the voltage decreases by 30 V (= 5 % of
600 V).
