Damage to other loads as a result of overvoltage
Overvoltage of switched inductances (contactors, relays) can damage connected loads.
• Install suitable overvoltage protection circuits and devices.
Note
Grounding the 24 V electronics power supply
In SINAMICS DCP, the electronics ground M is permanently connected to the protective
conductor potential.
Note
Malfunction because the 24 V power supply voltage is too low
A malfunction can occur if the 24
V supply voltage falls below the specified minimum value.
Select the 24 V supply voltage so that it is high enough to ensure that all SINAMICS DCP
devices have adequate voltage. Do not exceed the maximum value power supply
voltage.
