WhenyousavebuildtraysinObjetStudio,theyaresavedasobjtffiles.
ThesefilescontaininstructionstoObjetStudioandtoObjetprintersfor
displayingandproducingthestlfilesusedonthetray.Toconveniently
saveallofthefilesastheyarepositionedonthebuildtray,
forstoringthe
job,orfortransferringittoanotherlocation,ObjetStudiocompressesthem
intooneobjzffile.Tolaterusetheobjzffile,thefilemustfirstbeexpanded
inObjetStudioanditscomponentfilessaved.
Note: If you export an objzf file containing a stl file originally saved as read-
only, you cannot open (import) this objzf file to the folder where the
read-only stl file is saved.
To create an objzf file:
1. FromtheObjetStudioCommandsmenu ,selectExport Packed Job.
TheSaveAsdialogboxopens.
2. Selecttheappropriatefolderandchangethefilename(ifnecessary).
3. Click
Save.
To open an objzf file:
¾
Doubleclickontheobjtffile.
or—
1. FromtheObjetStudioCommandsmenu ,select
Import Packed Job.
2. IntheOpendialogbox,displaytheappropriatefolderandselectthe
file.
3. IntheBrowseforFolderdialogbox,displaythefolderinwhichyou
wantObjetStudiotoexpandthecompressedfile,andclick
OK.
Theobjtffileandassociatedstlfilesareexpandedandplacedinthe
selectedfolder,andthetrayisdisplayedinObjetStudio.
Note: You can also export a print job as an objzf file from the Job Manager
screen—see “Exporting Jobs (objzf)” on page 83.
