Adjusting steps:
8 Turn the throttle stop screw in direc-
tion
a or b until the specified engine
idling speed is obtained.
Direction a Engine idling speed is
increased.
Direction b Engine idling speed is
decreased.
Engine idling speed adjustment (For USA)
NOTE:
Before adjusting the engine idling speed,
properly adjust the throttle link rod.
1. Measure:
9 Engine idling speed
Out of specification → Adjust.
2. Adjust:
9 Engine idling speed
Measuring steps:
8 Start the engine and allow it to warm
up for several minutes.
8 Attach the engine tachometer to the
spark plug lead of cylinder #1.
Engine tachometer:
YU-8036-A
Engine idling speed:
950 ± 50 r/min
8 Measure the engine idling speed.
Engine idling speed is adjustment (except
for USA)
NOTE:
Before adjusting the engine idling speed,
properly adjust the throttle link rod.
1. Measure:
9 Engine idling speed
Out of specification → Adjust.
Engine idling speed:
F15A/F9.9C: 950 ± 50 r/min
FT9.9D: 1,050 ± 50 r/min
