SERVICE POINTS

Do not use a steel wire to clean the jets.
This may enlarge the jet diameters and
seriously affect performance.
Carburetor inspection
1. Inspect:
9 Carburetor body
Cracks/damage Replace.
Contamination Clean.
2. Inspect:
9 Main jet
9 Pilot jet
9 Main nozzle
Contamination Clean.
3. Inspect:
9 Needle valve
9 Pilot screw (except for USA)
Grooved wear Replace.
4. Inspect:
9 Float
Cracks/damage Replace.
Carburetor
1. Install:
9 Needle valve
9 Float 1
9 Float pin 2
9 Screw 3
NOTE:
9 When installing the float into the carbure-
tor, place the needle valve into the needle
valve seat.
9 The float pin should fit into the slit in the
carburetor and be retained with the screw.
9 After installation, make sure that the float
operates smoothly.
