Refer to "GENERAL" in chapter 3.
SPARK PLUG CAP
1. Inspect:
9 Spark plug cap
Loose → Tighten.
Cracks/damage → Replace.
2. Measure:
9 Spark plug cap resistance
Out of specification → Replace.

3. Measure:
9 Pulser coil output peak voltage
Below specification → Replace the
pulser coil.

Replacement steps:
8 To remove the spark plug cap turn it
counterclockwise.
8 To install the spark plug cap turn it
clockwise until it is tight.
Spark plug cap resistance
4.0 ~ 6.0 kΩ
