10Base5 terminating resistor Terminator of a 10Base5 network cable. Connected to the 10Base5
network cable via N-series connectors.

10BaseFL network cable Fiber optic system bus cable to Ethernet standard 10BaseFL. Delivered
as ready-made cable with connectors. Requires optical transceivers and
an active network concentrator (star coupler). Up to two nodes can be
connected without a network concentrator via two optical transceivers,
only.
10BaseFL network
concentrator module
Module plugged in the network concentrator for connecting a 10BaseFL
network cable.
10BaseFL network transceiver The 10BaseFL transceivers (fiber-optic transceivers) are used for
connecting fiber optic cables directly to the AC 800F. An AUI network
cable links the optical transceiver with the AC 800F. Two fiber optic
cables connect the optical transceiver to the network concentrator
module.
10BaseT Active The bottom, green LED on the RJ45 connector of the 10BaseT module,
signalling active communication.
• Off no communication
• Green flashing communicating
10BaseT Link The upper, yellow LED on the RJ45 connector of the 10BaseT module,
indicating the link state.
• Off Inactive link, no communication possible
• Static yellow Active link, communication is possible
10BaseT module EI 803F The 10BaseT module is designed for connecting the AC 800 F to the
system bus and can be used as a redundancy link. It ensures battery
buffering of the PM 802F board.
10BaseT module EI 813F The 10BaseT module is designed for connecting the AC 800 F to the
system bus and can be used as a redundancy link. It ensures battery
buffering of the PM 802F and PM 803F boards.

AC 800F In its most simple configuration the AC 800F consists of a AC 800F
housing, one power supply module, one Ethernet module and one
fieldbus module.
Air deflector Air deflector DSU 65 improves air circulation in the cabinet. It prevents
that heated air from a AC 800F or process station passes through the
AC 800F or process station above it.
