In the table above, A/C mode requires 6 STATNotes items. To check whether these STATNotes items exist:
Click Manage and Assemble Proles > STATNotes > Manage Items.
The screen displays all exisng items.
If all of the STATNotes items needed for mode A/C are included in the list, this means that the A/C Mode
item can be built. It is also important to note, when checking the STATNotes list for an item, the item
may exist under the "APOC" name. For example, if you are searching the list for the Set Rate item, it may
be listed as APOC set rate.
If any of the STATNotes items do not exist, create them.
When creang a Mode item, the following steps will be completed:
Item Name Required. Specify a name that is from 1 to 20 characters long and:
• does not begin with the char
acters APOC (in upper or lower
case)
• is a unique name within this healthcare organizaon.
Item Prompt on Analyzer Required. Specify a prompt that is from 1 to 20 characters long and:
• does not begin with the char
acters APOC (in upper or lower
case)
• is a unique name within this healthcare organizaon.
Descripon Oponal.
For this example, do not specify a Descripon.
Entry Prompt Select one of the following:
Entry, oponal
Pr
ompt the operator for an oponal entry.
Entry, mandatory with override
Prompt the operator for a mandatory entry. If the override feature
is chosen by the operator no further acon is required and the
instrument will advance to the next screen.
