Although a message is displayed on the instrument when a quality check failure occurs, the details are
not available in Review Results. The informaon shown below is to aid the administrator in answering
quesons or performing troubleshoong.
A Quality Check Failure can occur during paent tesng (Paent Pathway), while performing Quality
Control (Quality Control Pathway), or when using the Electronic Simulator (Electronic Simulator
Pathway).
For instrument issues, follow the instrucons on the display. If the instrument has been powered down,
the Quality Check Failure code will be stored in Review Results. To retrieve it: Power on the instrument
and touch More Opons > Review Results > Quality Results > Quality Check Code Results.
