A Navigate to the Home Screen, then touch More Opons. Touch Instrument Status and assess
the instrument's temperature. Move the instrument to an appropriate environment.
B Perform an Electronic Simulator test. If the test results in a PASS, the instrument is ready for use
otherwise contact system administrator for further instrucon.
C Repeat Electronic Simulator tesng. If the test results in a PASS, the instrument is ready for use
otherwise contact system administrator for further instrucon.
D Contact the system administrator for further instrucon.
E Do not collect the sample for this cartridge in a device that contains ancoagulant. Draw new
sample. Repeat tesng with a freshly lled cartridge. Carefully observe the help provided
throughout the tesng pathway. If the same quality check failure displays, contact the system
administrator for further instrucon.
F Prepare a new bole of material per the manufacturer's instrucon. Repeat tesng with a
freshly lled cartridge. Carefully observe the help provided throughout the tesng pathway. If
the same quality check failure displays, contact the system administrator for further instrucon.
G Repeat tesng with a freshly lled cartridge. Carefully observe the help provided throughout the
tesng pathway. If the same quality check failure displays, contact the system administrator for
further instrucon.
H When lling a cartridge, use care to advance blood to the level indicated by the 'll to' arrow.

I Instrument did not reset correctly. Perform an electronic simulator test. If the test results in a

J The simulator was not fully inserted. Repeat tesng. Make sure that the cover retaining ring
does not interfere with Electronic Simulator inseron. Ensure the Simulator is fully inserted. The
Simulator is fully inserted when the click is heard. If the same quality check failure displays,
contact the system administrator for further instrucon.
K Always scan the barcode found on the pouch that contained the cartridge in use. Scanning any
other barcode can cause this error. Repeat tesng with a freshly lled cartridge. Carefully
observe the help provided throughout the tesng pathway. If the same quality check failure
displays, contact the system administrator for further instrucon.
L A cartridge was detected when an Electronic Simulator was expected. Repeat tesng ensuring to
insert an Electronic Simulator. Make sure that the cover retaining ring does not interfere with
Simulator inseron. Ensure the Simulator is fully inserted. The Simulator is fully inserted when
the click is heard. If the same quality check failure displays, contact the system administrator for
further instrucon.
