1 Introduction
Advanced Flight Systems manufactures different size EFIS Displays. The AF-6600 and AF-5600 use a 10.4" display, the
AF-5700 and AF-5800 use a 12.1" display and the AF-5400 and AF-5500 use an 8.4” LCD display. All models are high
resolution LED backlit screens that provide the high intensity brightness during the day and very low intensity brightness
at night. All EFIS Displays have a Touch Screen
that adds flexibility, capability, and a more intuitive
user experience. Synthetic Vision is a standard
feature on the EFIS screens. The AF-6600 has a
flush mount LCD with a dual concentric encoder and
light sensor for automatic dimming. Each EFIS
display has five (5) RS-232 serial ports used for
interfacing to external devices, two (2) USB ports,
Ethernet port, and a SV Network connection.
All EFIS screens have a built in Dynon SV-
Network connection and are compatible with all
the Dynon remote components.
Options include: Advanced Control Module (ACM)
with plug-and-play features to vastly simplify an
aircraft’s electrical system and wiring, AOA,
Autopilot, backup GPS, ARINC adapter, Com
Radios, ADS-B Traffic & Weather receiver, XM
Weather receiver, Remote transponder, Remote
audio panel, WIFI wireless tablet communication.
