The SV-EMS has two Amp Sensor Inputs. The normal Amp sensor is a current Shunt and the optional
sensor is a Hall effect. The Dynon EMS sensor kit comes standard with a current shunt. For a dual
Alternator Aircraft you should use both sensors.
Amperage (Shunt)
1. Instrument ON/OFF
OFF Turns OFF the Shunt sensor Amps Display
PRIMARY Turns ON the Shunt sensor Amps Display
BACKUP Splits the AMP sensor display and displays the Shunt Amperage as AMPS2
2. Audio Alarms Turns ON or OFF the AMPS Audio Alerts
10. Shift Adjust Compensates for small errors in the amps sensor zero reading
11. Sensor Type Select the model number for the connected sensor
12. Pin Select Should always be P24/25
