Garmin G5 EFIS
The Garmin G5 can be used as a backup ADAHRS for an AF-5000 EFIS. The AF-5000 will do AHRS cross checking using
the systems SV-ADAHRS and G5. You can select the ADAHRS to use from the EFIS Options Menu by touching the
aircraft symbol on the center of the screen. If an ADAHRS fails, the system should switch to the backup ADAHRS if you
have selected AUTO. The color of the aircraft symbol changes based on the current ADAHRS in use. The G5 should be
connected to any available AF-5000 RS-232 serial port
