Performance Settings
Performance speeds (Vx, Vy, Va, Vo, Vg) are displayed as a letter on the right side of
the airspeed tape.
Vx: Best Angle of Climb
Vy: Best Rate of Climb
Va: Maneuvering Speed, the speed at which the airplane will stall before exceeding its
design limit-load factor in turbulent conditions or when the flight controls are suddenly
and fully deflected in flight at gross weight.
Vo: Operating Maneuvering, speed where the airplane will stall in a nose-up pitching
maneuver before exceeding the airplane structural limits.
Vg: Best Glide
Sensor Calibration
The Sensor Calibration section of the Airspeed Menu will display serial number and pressure data from the
ADAHRS units that are connected to the SV-Network.
18. Zero Pressure Offsets
This will perform a zero pitot pressure calibration
on the connected ADAHRS units. This should only
be done in a zero wind location.
24. Airspeed Adjust (ADAHRS 1)
30. Airspeed Adjust (ADAHRS 2)
This should normally be 0, it can be used to offset
the airspeed reading by a few knots (0-5 kts) to
correct for airspeed errors in the normal flight
airspeed range (over 30 kts)
