Configuration Changes
Configure a new device
Upon startup, the GC will attempt to identify any device that was not installed prior to
shutdown. The GC may require you to provide additional information, such as the type of
device installed, or which heater a given device was attached to. To configure a new device:
1 Select Settings > Service Mode > Setup.
2 Select the new device type from the list on the left side of the screen.
3 Fill out any required parameters. Potential parameters include:
• Type: Select the type of device installed, such as the MS model.
• Line voltage.
• Heater(s): Select the heater(s) that the device is plugged into.
• Sensor(s): Select the sensor the device is plugged into.
• LVDS: Select the LVDS channel the device is plugged into.
• Valve: Select the valve used to control your inlet’s cryo.
• Presence
4 Select Apply to save the changes to your GC.
Configure an existing device
To change the configuration properties for a device that has already been configured:
