Another advantage of enhanced communications is the convenience provided at a system
level:
• Consolidated EMF tracking
• Synchronized instrument clocks (requires Agilent data system)
• Synchronized instrument schedules (sleep/wake)
• Pass-through display of connected instrument errors to the GC display

To enable or disable HS communications
To temporarily disable GC-HS communications:
1 Select Settings > Configuration > Headspace.
2 Use the down arrow to scroll until the Enable Communication checkbox is visible.
3 Select or deselect the checkbox next to Enable Communication to enable or disable
communication with the headspace.
