Unit Trigger
The XX+ pin in each unit can be the unit trigger pin. This example
is shown in “Trigger System in MCA Module (the setup is an
example)” on page 126. The unit trigger can trigger its own unit
only. When you use the unit trigger for a unit, the XX+ pin (which
should be connected to a digital channel as the trigger source on
the DUT board) becomes the trigger input use only, throughout the
testflow. Thus, the analog input/output functions on the XX+ pin
cannot be used throughout the testflow.
For using common trigger pins, the full analog input/output
functions are available in each unit.
Pogo Pin Assignments in MCA
The pogo pin assignments of the MCA module are shown in the
table below.
This table also shows the values to be specified in the Mode
column of the Pin Configuration window when you define the MCA
pins (AWG/digitizer/PMU/V-source pins). This number is also
displayed in the Analog Setup window (Hardware Settings page).
The MCA uses two pogo blocks: S2 and S1 pogo blocks. Thus, the
number of pogo pins in the MCA is twice as many as for other
analog modules, where only the S2 pogo blocks are used.
