Overview In this Unit you will learn how to use the tools of SmarTest to
create and run a DAC test. With the DAC test serving as an
example, you will be made familiar with many of the main
capabilities of the tools. This will enable you to use the tools later
on to create your own mixed-signal tests.
The following list outlines the main contents of this Unit.
• Description of the training DAC and its characteristics.
• An introduction to the Analog Setup Tool.
• An introduction to the Mixed-Signal Tool.
• DAC linearity test control and execution.
• DAC distortion test control and execution.
Further capabilities of the tool will be discussed in the ADC Test
Unit.
