How to Change the Size of a Waveform Label
This may be necessary, for example, if you decide that the
captured waveform should be averaged at the workstation before
further calculations are performed.
The Waveform Memory page provides the same options as the
Sequencer Memory page: You can:
• Type in a sample number.
• Select sizes (sample numbers) of 2
n
from the browser.
• If the captured waveform shall be processed by software before
calculating results, calculate the required size by clicking SW AVG/
DISC.
When you are done, click A
DD/MODIFY.
NOTE A Waveform Label may be referenced by one or several sequencer
programs. If you reduce the size of such a label, it can happen that
these programs can no longer be executed successfully.
How to Add a New Waveform Label
If you create a new waveform label on the Waveform Memory
setup page, this label is not yet linked to a sequencer program, but
can be used in any sequencer program after its creation.
To create a new waveform label:
1 Overwrite the present LABEL text string.
2 Click ADD/MODIFY.
3 Switch to Sequencer Memory mode to use the label in a sequencer
program.
