Use the unp port port-template command to assign a port template to a UNP port or UNP link aggregate.
For example:
-> unp port 1/1/5 port-template portTemplate-1
-> unp port 1/2/1-5 port-template portTemplate-2
-> unp linkagg 10 port-template portTemplate-1
-> unp linkagg 10-50 port-template portTemplate-2
Use the no form of the unp port port-template command to remove a template from the port. For
example:
-> no unp port 1/1/5 port-template
-> no unp linkagg 10 port-template
Consider the following when removing a port template from a UNP port or link aggregate:
When a custom template is removed (for example, the “portTemplate-2”) from a UNP port, the port
reverts back to using the default template (“bridgeDefaultPortTemplate” for bridge ports or
“accessDefaultPortTemplate” for access ports) to define UNP port parameter options.
When a default template is removed (for example, “bridgeDefaultPortTemplate”) from a UNP port, the
UNP port parameter options for that port are individually defined through explicit commands. For
example, the following commands change the MAC authentication and classification parameters for
UNP port 1/1/5 (there is no template assigned to port 1/1/5):
-> unp port 1/1/5 mac-authentication
-> unp port 1/1/5 classification
