9-5 Updating the Site Master Firmware
To view the software package version currently installed on the
instrument, press the Anritsu logo in the upper left corner of the display
screen, then press the SW Info key in the Status dialog box.
Software updates are downloaded from the Anritsu product page:
www.anritsu.com/en-US/test-measurement/products/s331l
Go to the Downloads page and download the installer to your PC.
1. Run the installer executable file and follow the on-screen
instructions.
2. After the firmware update is saved on a USB memory stick,
remove the memory stick from the computer.
3. With the Site Master instrument turned off, insert the memory
stick into a USB port.
4. Turn on the Site Master.
5. Press the Preset (9) key.
6. Under the Reset submenu, press Update Firmware. The Update
Firmware dialog (Figure 9-8) appears.
7. Select CONTINUE to begin the firmware update or CANCEL to
cancel.
8. After the update is complete, the instrument will power down.
Restart the instrument to complete the update.
