Oil Seal
Install the oil seal with the springllipped side fac-
ing inward.
IMPORTANT: Do not re-use the seal once
removed.
Always install a new oil seal.

Install valve spring seat.
Apply oil to valve stem seal and push seal onto
valve guide.
IMPORTANT:
Do
not re-use valve stem seal
once removed. Always install a new valve stem
seal.

Apply oil to stem seal, valve guide bore, and valve
stem.
Install valve, valve spring, and valve retainer.
IMPORTANT: Install each valve and spring

Use Valve Spring Compressor,
PIN
346186, and
attachment
"A" from Valve Lifter Adaptor Kit,
PIN
5000899, and tweezers to install valve cot-
ters.
Make sure
valve cotters are properly seated
in
groove.
