Crankshaft
Install crankshaft main bearings
in
cylinder and
crankcase.
Align the tab
of
bearing with notch
in
cylinder and
crankcase.
Apply engine
oil to bearing inner surface.
IMPORTANT: Assemble each bearing
in
its orig-
inal position.

Apply ThreeBond 12078 sealant to the oil seal fit-
ting surface of the cylinder.
Do
not allow sealant into the groove for the oil
seal
tab.

Seal tab groove
Apply engine oil to oil seal lips. Install seals
on
crankshaft with spring/lipped side facing inward.
