Operation
BALERS WITH STANDARD CONTROLS
(ROLLANT 240/250)
Wide and heavy windrows ensure uniform feed of
material into the baling chamber across the full width
of the pick-up, thus producing well-shaped bales.
If the windrows are narrow or light, the driver should
weave, i.e. feed the crop for approx. 15 meters into the
right side of the bale chamber, then cross the windrow
to feed the crop for approx. 15 m (590.6 inch) into the
left side of the bale chamber
Switch on the control box:
Place the rotary switch (2) in position (A) or (E).
The indicator lamp in the rotary switch (1) lights up
when the baler is operational. Approach the windrow
and switch on the universal drive shaft.
Note!
If the red indicator light (1) in the rotary switch
blinks quickly when the electrical system is
switched on, then the machine is not ready for
automatic wrapping.
Before baling, take remedial action.
Possible causes:
– the tailgate is open
– the ramp is lowered
– the lever for twine wrapping is not in the home
position.
