Maintenance
Tightening the pick-up drive chain
Open cover (K).
Loosen the clamping screw (1).
Press the block tightener against the chain and at the
same time retighten the clamping screw (1).
Close cover (K) again.

Tightening the drive chain for the cross auger
Dismantle the castor gauge wheel.
On central lubrication system, dismantle the lubrication
line.
To tension the drive chain, remove the protective
enclosure (T).
Loosen the clamping screw (1).
Press the block tightener against the chain and at the
same time retighten the clamping screw (1).
Replace the guard (T).

Adjusting the chain tightener
After loosening the lock nut (K), adjust the guide tube
(R) so that the loaded length of spring (X) is 290 mm
(11.42 inch) with the lock nut tightened.
Note!
Check the chain tightener every 50 hours.
