Mechanical lubrication of the central chain
(Rollant 254/255 - Option)
Overview of the mechanical lubricating pump
A mechanical lubricating pump (L) is connected to the
reservoir for the chain oil.
The lubricating lines have different colors:
black = tailgate
blue = main drive
red = rotor
yellow = upper rollers in the chassis
green = lower rollers in the chassis
orange = right pick-up
purple = left pick-up
(Fig. 5)
Making adjustments to the mechanical lubricating
pump
The flow rate of the oil depends on the settings of the
ram and the adjusting screws (Y); the specified values
apply to a ram movement (X) of 23 mm.
Use a screwdriver (arrow) to set the adjusting
screw (K) on the mechanical lubricating pump (L)
to match the desired oil flow rate.
