FAULTS, CAUSE OR REMEDY
Faults Cause or remedy
Twine wrapping
Twine wrapping does not begin automatically
even when the bale compacting chamber is
completely full.
1. The toggle switch or push button on the control
box is not set to twine wrapping or the control
box or control panel is not switched on.
2. When the control box is switched on, the arms
for twine wrapping must be in the start position.
Power supply for the baler is faulty.
3. Check lines and plugs.
4. Tailgate sensors do not work.
5. Check switches, lines, screw connections and
mechanical actuation. Check the function of the
switch; if necessary, replace the switch.
6. Magnetic clutch or connection is faulty.
7. The magnetic clutch can be tested by manually
switching on the clutch at the control box.
Wrapping starts automatically and the magnetic
clutch remains engaged.
The red light and buzzer on the control box do not
come on after 5 seconds.
1. Switch for twine wrapping is faulty.
Too little tension on the twine. 1. Twine tightener set too loose.
Twine wrapping continues even when the knife is
folded in.
1. The knife did not cut.
2. The knife is blunt or rusty.
3. The magnetic coupling is still switched on. You
can test the magnetic coupling by switching it
on manually at the control box.
4. The twine wrapping switch is faulty.
Twines not fed in on start of wrapping cycle. 1. The twine is blocked on the twine roll.
2. The twine brake has not been released.
3. The twine end is too short; pull out some more.
Binding twine is fed into the compacting chamber
and winds around the steel roller.
1. Tilt the twine deflector.
