Operation
BLOCKAGES
Cam-type cut-out clutch universal drive shaft
(optional equipment)
If the baler is overloaded or the rotor is blocked, the
cam-type cut-out clutch (N) will shut off the drive.
If the cam-type cut-out clutch is activated, proceed as
follows:
1. Stop the tractor and switch off the PTO shaft
(cut-out clutch will reengage).
2. Disengage the cutting knives
(ROLLANT 250/254/255 RC). This is done by
lowering the pick-up completely. Put the tractors
control valve in the floating position (see Tractor
Operators Manual).
3. Switch the PTO shaft back on again and engage
at low speed.
However, if the cam-type cut-out clutch disengages
again immediately, switch the PTO off again and
repeat the procedure. Check the baler for foreign
objects and remove them.
Switch the knife on the cutting unit back on.
