Knife cleaning sequence
When the blades are used for bale wrapping, the
function »automatic blade cleaning sequence« can be
activated. The function »automatic blade cleaning
sequence« is only active when there is no flow of bale
material in the machine, i.e. when no cutting process is
being carried out, e.g. when binding or ejecting bales.
During the cleaning process, dirt and deposits are
removed from the slots in the housing. This function is
carried out automatically at regular intervals, i.e. after
every 11 bales.
Turn the incremental encoder (I),
until the »blade cleaning
sequence« (J) appears
surrounded by a frame. Press the
incremental encoder to confirm.
The frame appears enlarged.
Press the incremental encoder to
activate (1) or to deactivate (0)
the blade cleaning sequence.
Press the incremental encoder to
confirm the new status: it is saved in the CLAAS
COMMUNICATOR. The frame is reduced in size.
