RPMdep protect (PRP only)
RPM dependent Oil pressure and Coolant pressure protections are available in PRP (propulsion) application
only. Both protections are by default set to Protection block type = RunOnlyBlkDel1 (Engine running - block
delay 1).
There are two setpoints for linear Warning limit, two for Shut down limit and one for delay. Setpoints
adjusting step and range depends on corresponding sensor characteristics.
To activate RPM dependent Oil pressure protection the logical Analog input Oil Press must be configured to
any physical analog input.
Hint:
The particular RPM dependent protection is fully disabled if both xxxIdlexxx and xxxNomxxx parameters are
set to value 0,0. I.e. the protection is not activated even if measured value is negative (e.g. when there is a
wrong sensor calibration).
OPIdleRPMWrn, OPNomRPMWrn [ - ]
Linear Warning characteristic is defined in two points for Idle RPM and for Nominal RPM.
OPIdleRPMSd, OPNomRPMSd [ - ]
Linear Shut down characteristic is defined in two points for Idle RPM and for Nominal RPM.
OilPrRPMdel [ s ]
RPM dependent Oil pressure protection delay. Corresponding protection is activated when Oil pressure is
below limit for OilPrRPMdel.
