14.3 Subroutine execution.
The CNC offers the following types of commands to call the subroutines.
When executing one of these commands, the CNC executes the selected subroutine. When
the subroutine has ended, the program execution resumes at the calling statement.
Location (path) of the global subroutines.
When calling a global subroutine its path (location) may be defined. When indicating the
whole path, the CNC only looks for the subroutine in the indicated directory. If the path has
not been indicated, the CNC looks for the subroutine in the following directories and in this
order.
1 Directory selected with the #PATH instruction.
2 Directory of the program being executed.
3 Directory defined by machine parameter SUBPATH.
Command. Call type.
L Call to a global subroutine.
Parameters cannot be initialized with this command.
LL Call to a local subroutine.
Parameters cannot be initialized with this command.
#CALL Call to a global or local subroutine.
Parameters cannot be initialized with this command.
#PCALL Call to a global or local subroutine.
Local parameters can be initialized with this command.
#MCALL Modal call to a local or global subroutine.
Local parameters can be initialized with this command.
#MDOFF It makes a function non-modal.
