You can save the temporary settings in the DR mode
to memory.
The saved settings can be selected by rotating [DIAL].
D Storing the temporary setting data
Example: To register “FROM: Hamacho430” and “TO:
Hirano430” into Memory channel 001.
Hold down q for 1 second.
• The DR mode is selected.
Push D-pad( w ) to select “FROM,” and then push D-
pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( e ) to select “Repeater List,” and then
push D-pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( r ) to select “11:Japan,” and then push
D-pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( t ) to select “Hamacho430,” and then
push D-pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( y ) to select “TO,” and then push D-
pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( u ) to select “Gateway CQ,” and then
push D-pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( i ) to select “11:Japan,” and then push
D-pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( o ) to select “Hirano430,” and then
push D-pad(Ent).
!0 Hold down [S.MW] for 1 second to enter the
memory select write mode.
• The previously selected channel number blinks, and the
channel contents are displayed.
- If you continuously hold down [S.MW]
, the setting
is stored into the VFO mode.
!1 Rotate [DIAL] to select the Memory channel 001.
!2 Hold down [S.MW] for 1 second to store the
setting, and the transceiver returns to the DR mode
display.
• The memory contents are displayed for a moment.
• When the stored channel is blank, the names, set to “TO”
and “FROM,” are automatically set to the Memory chan-
nel.
■ DV mode operation in the Memory mode
Confirming the call sign ■
Push [FM/DV] q several times to select the DV
mode.
Hold down w for 1 second to display the CALL
SIGN screen.
• The CALL SIGN screen can be displayed in the DR,
VFO, Memory or Call channel mode.
• To select the name display mode, push
, and then
push D-pad() to select “Name Display.” After selecting,
push D-pad(Ent).
