GPS alarm setting
A GPS alarm can sound when a target position comes
into the alarm area.
This function can be set to the caller station, all GPS
Memory channels, a specified Memory bank or a
specified Memory channel.
Example: Alarm Area 1
Setting alarm to all GPS Memories.
Push [MENU] q .
Push D-pad( w ) to select the root item (GPS), and
then push D-pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( e ) to select “GPS Memory,” and then
push D-pad(Ent).
Push D-pad( r ) to select “ALL.”
• If you wish to set the alarm to a GPS Memory
bank, select one between A to Z.
Push t .
Push D-pad( y ) to select “Alarm ON,” and then push
D-pad(Ent).
• When the alarm is set, is displayed next to the
item.
u Push [MENU] to exit the Menu screen.
• When either one of the stations in a specified group
enters its set range, the beep sounds three times.
• When the GPS alarm beeps, “GPS ALARM” pops
up on the screen and then the S icon blinks.
• To cancel the GPS alarm, repeat step t and se-
lect “Alarm OFF.”
