z The end of inspiration/expiration connectors which connects the breathing tube
shall be kept downward to prevent condensed water from entering the breathing
system.
14.3.10 O2 Sensor
WARNING
z Do not put both of the breathing system and the O
2
sensor in liquid or autoclave
them.
z Water vapor may condense on the surface of the O
2
sensor, which can result in
invalid O
2
concentration measurement. In this case, you need to take out the O
2
sensor, remove the water condensed on its surface, and reinstall it into the
breathing system.
1. Refer to the methods recommended in the table of 14.3 Clean&Disinfect and Re-install
the Breathing System to clean and disinfect the O2 sensor.
2. When the O
2
sensor is fully dry, refer to 14.2.1 O2 Sensor to install it in the reverse
order.
14.3.11 AGSS Transfer and Receiving System
14.3.11.1 Filter
Shake the removed filter to get rid of the dust and other contamination until satisfactory
cleaning effect is achieved.
14.3.11.2 Float
Refer to the methods recommended in the table of 14.3 Clean&Disinfect and Re-install the
Breathing System to clean and disinfect the float.
14.3.11.3 Spoiler
Refer to the methods recommended in the table of 14.3 Clean&Disinfect and Re-install the
Breathing System to clean and disinfect the spoiler.
