Boot options

7210 SAS-Sx 10/100GE, and 7210 SAS-Mxp.
• When operating in standalone mode, 7210 SAS-Mxp, 7210 SAS-Sx 1/10GE, 7210 SAS-
S 1/10GE, and 7210 SAS-Sx 10/100GE support the option of either configuring the BOF
manually (see section Manual mode for more information about the procedure used) or
retrieving the BOF using autoinit (see section Auto-init mode for more information about the
procedure used).
In some cases, the BOF may specify different storage device locations for the TiMOS image (both.tim)
and the configuration file. For example, the boot.tim file may be located on cf1:\, but both.tim and
the configuration file may be located on cf2:\. Use the show>system>information command to identify
the location of the BOF and the boot.tim image used to boot the system.
