2.9 Programming - Introduction
Programming should only be conducted by healthcare
professionals with in-depth knowledge of PGDT
control systems. Incorrect programming could result
in an unsafe set-up of a wheelchair for a user. PGDT
accept no liability for losses of any kind if the
programming is inappropriate for the SID type or
user. Chapter 3 section 1.
2.10 User Switch
PGDT recommend the use of a normally-closed User
Switch. PGDT accept no liability for losses of any
kind arising from the use of any other type of switch.

2.11 Switch Detect
PGDT recommend this parameter is always set to On.
PGDT accept no liability for losses of any kind arising
from any other setting. Chapter 3 section 2.4.2.
2.12 Diagnostics - Introduction
Diagnostics should only be conducted by healthcare
professionals with in-depth knowledge of PGDT
electronic control systems. An incorrect or badly
effected repair could result in an unsafe set-up of a
wheelchair. PGDT accept no liability for losses of any
kind arising from an incorrect or badly effected repair.
