Introduction
This Service Manual provides the information needed to successfully service the 861290 HeartStart XL+
defibrillator/monitor. This manual provides you with information on troubleshooting, repair, and
performance verification and safety testing of the defibrillator/monitor. There is also information on the
theory of operation, maintenance procedures, and ordering parts and supplies.
NOTE: This manual describes all optional features. If your device does not have some of the optional features
listed, then disregard the features, controls, and related information described in the manual.
