TROUBLESHOOTING
This section is provided for technicians to assist in locating and correcting minor
system faults, should they occur. When the unit will not expose, an audible alert
will sound and one or more “warning" or “error code” message(s) will appear on
the Operator Control Panel display. In the event the READY indicator on the oper-
ator control panel is not lit following an audible alert, pressing the PREP key will
display an error message indicating the reason the system is not responding.
Warning Messages
Refer to the Operator’s manual for a list of system warning messages that
do not require the attention of a service representative. These messages
can be cleared by correcting the indicated problem (e.g., x-ray room door
open) and then pressing any key on the operator control panel.
Error Codes
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the generator is interfaced
to an external imaging system that is used as the
generator’s operator control panel, (e.g., an Agfa
NX Workstation integration or Canon DR Integra-
tion System), refer to accompanying service docu-
mentation provided with the integration system
for a list of applicable error codes and remedial
actions relevant to integration issues.
