7.
Using a syringe, apply a vacuum to the Sensor Luer:
a. If syringe loses vacuum, replace Valve L3. Return to the
beginning of step 7 and continue testing.
b. If syringe maintains a vacuum, proceed to step 8.
8.
Press Aspirate:
a. If syringe maintains a vacuum, replace Valve L3. Return to the
beginning of step 7 and continue testing.
b. If syringe loses vacuum, proceed to step 9.
9.
If problems persist, consider other causes of air in calibration fluid
such as an empty cal pack, poorly seated cal pack, blockage in the
sensor cassette, or poorly seated sensor cassette.
