Waste Pump Head and Waste Pump
Introduction
This procedure describes the process for removing the waste pump head and the
waste pump from the lower module.
CAUTION: Wear suitable protection gear during this procedure.
WARNING/
CAUTION:
Removing the
waste pump
head
Follow these steps to remove the waste pump head from the front of the lower
module as shown in figure 5-15. This part may be removed without dismantling
any other portion of the analyzer.
Step Action
1.
Open the printer door.
2.
Disconnect the two ends of the waste pump tubing from the printer
chassis.
3.
Press-in the two clips on the sides of the pump head and pull the pump
head away.
